Acceptance
By creating an account or using Nora, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
What Nora is
Nora is a productivity tool that treats your phone time like a balance — focus deposits minutes, distractions withdraw them, and you can shield apps when you go into overdraft. Numbers shown are your own data, not money.
Your account
You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. If you switch to a different Apple ID or email, that signs you in as a fresh account.
Pro subscription
Pro is sold via Apple's in-app purchase system. Monthly and yearly subscriptions auto-renew at the price shown unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged at confirmation and on each renewal. You can manage or cancel anytime in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Free trials convert to paid unless cancelled before the trial ends; any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a paid plan. Lifetime is a one-time non-recurring purchase with no auto-renewal. All refunds are handled by Apple at apple.com/support.
Acceptable use
Don't use Nora to harass other users, automate it against our intent, reverse-engineer it, or interfere with how it works for anyone else. Don't try to misrepresent who you are.
Your data
Your raw Screen Time and transactions stay on this device. If you use Friends, your balance, lock-in status, ghost skin, and tracked-app labels are synced to our server so people you've connected with can see them. You can wipe your local data any time from Settings → Reset account, or permanently delete your account (local + server) from Menu → Account → Delete account. Disclaimers
Nora is provided "as is" without warranties. Screen Time enforcement depends on iOS APIs we don't control; we can't guarantee an app will be blocked at the exact moment you go into overdraft.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Nora is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
Termination
You can delete your account any time from Menu → Account → Delete account. That permanently removes your local data, your server account, friendships, invites, and pending transfers. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Changes
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we'll surface it in the app before it takes effect. Continued use after that means you accept the change.
