Getting started
What is Nora?

Nora turns focus into screen time. Lock in and you bank minutes; the distracting apps you choose spend them. Run out and those apps lock behind Nora until you earn more. She's the ghost keeping your books.

Which devices does she support?

iPhone first, on iOS 16 and above. iPad and Android are on the roadmap.

Why does Nora need Screen Time access?

Nora uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) to count time on the apps you pick and to shield them when your balance runs out. She only ever sees the apps you choose — never the rest of your phone, and never what's on your screen. You can change the list anytime in the app.

Billing & subscriptions
Is there a free trial?

Yes. Nora is a subscription that starts with a free trial — there's no free tier. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so you manage them there: open the Settings app, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose Nora, then Cancel. You'll keep access until the current period ends.

New phone — how do I get Nora back?

Install Nora and sign in with Apple. Your subscription and your progress — balance, stats and cosmetics — restore automatically.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and request a refund for Nora — or email me and I'll point you the right way.

Your account & data
Where does my data live?

Your raw Screen Time and transactions stay on your phone — Nora never syncs your app-usage, or the names and icons of the apps you track. If you use Friends or Focus Rooms, only your name, handle, balance, lock-in status and ghost skin are stored so people you've connected with can see them. Full details on the privacy page.

How do I reset or delete my account?

Both live in the app under Menu → Settings. Reset account clears your local balance and history but keeps your identity. Delete account (Settings → Profile → Danger zone) permanently removes everything — local data, your server account, and all friend connections.
